There is nothing quite like the excitement of when you sign up with a new (to you) company and are first starting out! You are so excited about the products and the company that you can hardly contain yourself! I know that the first thing you want to do is tell every person you know that you are now selling for ABC Company and you should! You definitely want them to know! The problem comes after you've all ready let everyone know what you sell! How do you continue the momentum without sounding like a crazy person? No one wants to hear "buy this" and "join me" and "sale here" Every. Single. Day! It is NOT a good way to get loyal customers (or any customers at all)! Do you log into Facebook just to buy things or to get sold to? No. You want to see what your friends are up to, socialize and be entertained! Here are some tips on how you can sell without sounding like a crazy-person!
1. It is extremely important to build relationships in this type of business. You do not need to talk about your business in every conversation! If you are genuinely interested in your customers and their lives, they too, will take interest in yours. (Try it!)!
2. Show your fans/friends pictures of your favorite products and tell why you genuinely love them (without leaving a link or talking about the prices!). It will spark interest and may get some questions you can answer in the comments!
3. Did you reach a new promotion with your company? Do a public post to thank your sponsor and your customers/hosts for helping you get there!
4. Did you just get paid from your company? Show what you bought on social media with a big "thank you to ABC Company" for helping me purchase this item/trip/meal!
5. Make a video! Show your customers how you use your products and why you love them! Do not talk about pricing or how to buy! Let them come to you! (You can say - just message me if you have any questions!)!
6. Always follow up with your past customers. Good or bad, you need to know how your customers are loving their purchases! If you follow up, you can fix anything that was wrong, or if they love it, you might have a customer for life, a new party hostess or better yet, a new team member... but you won't know if you don't ask!
